Rogue wave explodes off starboard

With confused seas and erratic winds, rogue waves explode out of nowhere and without warning. Here a rather piddling rogue tries to drench the photographer. Most rogues, of any consequence, are bigger than this inconvenience of a wave. Ships have been staved in, containers swept from decks, and as you will see in later photos, puny little sailboats temporarily submerged.
