Sunrise over the extreme, southern entrance to the Gulf of California, a.k.a. the Sea of Cortez. Sunrise tends to be an upbeat time of day on an anticruise. It has everything to do with ending reliance on electronic eyes, feeling the cool of night not yet blowtorched away by the rising sun, and anticipating coffee and conversation with one's crew mate.
